Many impostors shall advance…and “shall deceive many”

Writer: R. GambrellR. Gambrell

“And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because the transgression of the Thorah | Torah shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.” MATTITHYAHU (MATTHEW) 24:11-12 את CEPHER Publishing Group.

“For there shall arise false Messiahs or false Anointed Ones | Mashiachiym, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; so much so that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect | or Chosen Ones.

Behold, I have told you before.” MATTITHYAHU (MATTHEW) 24:24-25 את CEPHER Publishing Group.

One such example of this, came in the form of people claiming to be the Almighty Creator’s children who changed the true date for “Rosh HaShanah,” meaning theBeginning or Head of the Year!”

Some claim their ancestors were descendants of the families that were in “Egyptian slavery” Yet, they came over to America, not as slaves. This totally contradicts what Abba YA’OH ALA’AYM said would happen to his children if they turned to worshipping idols!

Please read prophecy of Blessings for obedience and the Curses he would punish his children for disobedience when they reject him in favor of worshipping idols!

The 28th chapter of Dabaraym | (DEUTERONOMY) wherein describes the curses in detail including how our ancestors would traverse the ocean by ships!

“AND it shall come to pass, if you shall hearken diligently unto the voice of Yahuah Elohayka, to guard and to do all his commandmentswhich I command you this day, that Yahuah Elohayka will set you on high above all nations of the earth: And all these blessings shall come on you, and overtake you, if you shall hearken unto the voice of YA'OH ALA'AYM | Yahuah Elohayka.” Dabaraym | DEVARIYM (DEUTERONOMY) 28:1-2 את CEPHER

“Yahuah shall establish you a holy people unto himself, as he has sworn unto you, if you shall guard the commandments of Yahuah Elohayka, and walk in his ways. And all people of the earth shall see that you are called by the name of Yahuah; and they shall be afraid of you. And Yahuah shall make you plenteous in goods, in the fruit of your body, and in the fruit of your cattle, and in the fruit of your ground, in the land which Yahuah swore unto your fathers to give you. Yahuah shall open unto you his good treasure, the heavens to give the rain unto your land in his season, and to bless את all the work of your hand: and you shall lend unto many nations, and you shall not borrow. And Yahuah shall make you the head, and not the tail; and you shall be above only, and you shall not be beneath; if that you hearken unto the commandments of Yahuah Elohayka, which I command you this day, to guard and to do them: And you shall not go aside from any of the words which I command you this day, to the right hand, or to the left, to go after other elohiym to serve them.” Dabaraym | DEVARIYM (DEUTERONOMY) 28:9-14 אתCEPHER

But it shall come to pass, if you will not hearken unto the voice of Yahuah Elohayka, to guard to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command you this day; that all these curses shall come upon you, and overtake you:”…”Yahuah shall bring you, and your king which you shall set over you, unto a nation which neither you nor your fathers have known; and there shall you serve other elohiym, wood and stone. And you shall become an astonishment, a proverb, and a byword, among all nations whither Yahuah shall lead you.”…”You shall beget sons and daughters, but you shall not enjoy them; for they shall go into captivity.“…”The stranger that is within you shall get up above you very high; and you shall come down very low. He shall lend to you, and you shall not lend to him: he shall be the head, and you shall be the tail. Moreover all these curses shall come upon you, and shall pursue you, and overtake you, till you be destroyed; because you hearkened not unto the voice of Yahuah Elohayka, to guard his commandments and his statutes which he commanded you: And they shall be upon you for a sign and for a wonder, and upon your seed forever. Because you served not Yahuah Elohayka with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things; Therefore shall you serve your enemies which Yahuah shall send against you, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon your neck, until he have destroyed you.”…”Yahuah shall bring a nation against you from far, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flies; a nation whose tongue you shall not understand; A nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of the old, nor show favor to the young: And he shall eat the fruit of your cattle, and the fruit of your land, until you be destroyed: which also shall not leave you either grain, wine, or oil, or the increase of your kine, or flocks of your sheep, until he have destroyed you. And he shall besiege you in all your gates, until your high and fenced walls come down, wherein you trusted, throughout all your land: and he shall besiege you in all your gates throughout all your land, which Yahuah Elohayka has given you.”…”If you will not guard to do all the words of this Torah that are written in this cepher, that you may fear this glorious and fearful name, אתYahuah Elohayka; Then Yahuah will make your plagues wonderful, and את the plagues of your seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance. Moreover he will bring upon you את all the diseases of Mitsrayim, which you were afraid of; and they shall cleave unto you. Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the cepher of this Torah, them will Yahuah bring upon you, until you be destroyed. And ye shall be left few in number, whereas ye were as the stars of heaven for multitude; because you would not obey the voice of Yahuah Elohayka. And it shall come to pass, that as Yahuah rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you; so Yahuah will rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring you to nought; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither you go to possess it.“…”And it shall come to pass, that as Yahuah rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you; so Yahuah will rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring you to nought; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither you go to possess it. And Yahuah shall scatter you among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there you shall serve other elohiym, which neither you nor your fathers have known, even wood and stone. And among these nations shall you find no ease, neither shall the sole of your foot have rest: but Yahuah shall give you there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and sorrow of mind: And your life shall hang in doubt before you; and you shall fear day and night, and shall have none assurance of your life: In the morning you shall say, Would to Elohiym it were evening! and at evening you shall say, Would to Elohiym it were morning! for the fear of your heart wherewith you shall fear, and for the sight of your eyes which you shall see. And Yahuah shall bring you into Mitsrayim again with ships, by the way whereof I spoke unto you, you shall see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you.” Dabaraym | DEVARIYM (DEUTERONOMY) 28:15, 36-37, 41, 43-48, 49-52, 58-62, 63-68.

This truly describes the true nation of Ya’ohsharal who went through two major trials of brutal slavery.

This often leads to confusion, and may give ordinary people, who don’t know any better, an excuse to turn away from reading their Bible. They think it contradicts itself, mainly because they have listened to their leaders who told them not to believe what they have read with their own eyes, those things written in the Scriptures!

When our father, Abba YA’OH | YHWH decided he had had enough of the pain and suffering that his people were enduring, he came down from Heaven to dwell with the nation of Ya’ohsharal, who wereour ancestors, his true children.

He sent the prophet “Mashah” who most of us today know him as “Moses” in the English language.

Few people may not know this, but English, Latin, Greek, and even the modern Hebrew languages of today, “are NOT” the true languages that the Laws or Thorah were given to our ancestors, these are designed for us to live by!

“For false Mashiachiym and false prophets shall rise, and shall show signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect. But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things. But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken. And then shall they see the Son of A'dam coming in the clouds with great power and glory. And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.” MARQUS (MARK) 13:22-27 אתCEPHER Publishing Group.

Let’s turn back our attention to The Head of the Year!

According to the Biblical verses preserved in everyone’s Bible:

“GUARD the month of Abib | Aviyv, and keep the Pesach | Pecach unto YA’OH your ALA’AYM | Yahuah Elohayka: for in the month of Abib | Aviyv YA’OH your ALA’AYM |Yahuah Elohayka brought you forth out of Matsraym | Egypt |Mitsrayim by night. You shall therefore sacrifice the Passover Lamb | Pesach | Pecach unto YA’OH your ALA’AYM | Yahuah Elohayka, of the flock and the herd, in the place which YA’OH | Yahuah shall choose to place his name there.” Dabaraym | DEVARIYM (DEUTERONOMY) 16:1-2 אתCEPHER Publishing Group.

“You shall eat no chamets with it; seven days shall you eat matstsah | unleavened bread there with, even the bread of affliction; for you came forth out of the land of Mitsrayim | Egypt in haste: that you may remember the day when you came forth out of the land of Egypt | Mitsrayim all the days of your life. And there shall be no chamets | leaven seen with you in all your coast seven days; neither shall there anything of the flesh, which you sacrificed the first day at evening, remain all night until the morning. You may not sacrifice the Passover | Pesach | Pecach within any of your gates, which YA’OH your ALA’AYM | Yahuah Elohayka gives you: But at the place which YA’OH your ALA’AYM | Yahuah Elohayka shall choose to place his name in, there you shall sacrifice the Passover Lamb | Pecach at evening, at the going down of the sun, at the season that you came forth out of Egypt | Mitsrayim. And you shall roast and eat it in the place which YA’OH your ALA’AYM| Yahuah Elohayka shall choose: and you shall turn in the morning, and go unto your tents. Six days you shall eat matstsah: and on the seventh day shall be a solemn assembly to YA’OH your ALA’AYM | Yahuah Elohayka: you shall do no work therein.” Dabaraym | DEVARIYM (DEUTERONOMY) 16:3-8 אתCEPHER Publishing Group.

This happens at the start of Spring, not Autumn as claimed by those who teach the Seventh month as Rosh HaShanah, rather than the First Month of Abib (ear of grain or still green ears when the seeds begin its flowering stage) as Abba YA’OH ALA’AYM ordainedand gave us instructions on when and how to observe it!

With that being said, who do you think he will hold accountable for deceiving the people?

“BUT there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying YA’OH | Yahuah that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the Way of Truth shall be evil spoken of.” KEPHA SHENIY (2 PETER) 2:1-2 את CEPHER Publishing Group.

Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.” LUQAS (LUKE) 6:26 את CEPHER

BELOVED, believe not every spirit | ruach, but try the spirits | ruachoth whether they are of ALA’AYM | Elohiym: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. Hereby know ye the Spirit of ALA’AYM | Ruach Elohiym: Every spirit | ruach that confesses that Ya’ohshai The Anointed One | Yahusha Ha'Mashiach is come in the flesh is of ALA’AYM | Elohiym: And every spirit | ruach that confesses not that Ya’ohshai The Anointed One | Yahusha Ha'Mashiach is come in the flesh is not of ALA’AYM | Elohiym: and this is that ruach | spirit of Anti-Christ or False Messiahs | antimashiach, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. Ye | You are of ALA’AYM | Elohiym, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world hears them. We are of ALA’AYM | Elohiym: he that knows ALA’AYM | Elohiym hears us; he that is not of ALA’AYM | Elohiym hears not us. Hereby know we the Spirit of Truth | Ruach Emeth, and the spirit of error | ruach of error. Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of ALA’AYM | Elohiym; and everyone that loves is born of ALA’AYM | Elohiym, and knows אתALA’AYM | Elohiym. He that loves not knows not ALA’AYM | Elohiym; for ALA’AYM | Elohiym is love. In this was manifested the love of ALA’AYM | Elohiym toward us, because that ALA’AYM | Elohiym sent his Beloved Son | yachiyd into the world, that we might live through him. Herein is love, not that we loved ALA’AYM | Elohiym, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if ALA’AYM | Elohiym so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man has seen ALA’AYM | Elohiym at any time. If we love one another, ALA’AYM | Elohiym dwells in us, and his love is perfected in us. Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit | Ruach. And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Savior of the world. Whosoever shall confess that Ya’ohshai | Yahusha is the Son of ALA’AYM | Elohiym, ALA’AYM | Elohiym dwells in him, and he in ALA’AYM | Elohiym. And we have known and believed the love that ALA’AYM | Elohiym has to us. ALA’AYM | Elohiym is love; and he that dwells in love dwells in ALA’AYM | Elohiym, and ALA’AYM | Elohiym in him. Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear: because fear has torment. He that fears is not made perfect in love. We love him, because he first loved us. If a man say, I love ALA’AYM | Elohiym, and hates his brother, he is a liar: for he that loves not his brother whom he has seen, how can he love ALA’AYM | Elohiym whom he has not seen? And this commandment have we from him, That he who loves ALA’AYM | Elohiym love his brother also.” YOCHANON RI'SHON (1 JOHN) 4:1-21 את CEPHER Publishing Group.

“Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.”

“Think not in your minds, neither say in your hearts, that every crime is not manifested and seen. In heaven it is daily written down before El Elyon | The Most High AL. Henceforward shall it be manifested; for every act of oppression which you commit shall be daily recorded, until the period of your condemnation.” CHANOK (ENOCH) 97:16 את CEPHER Publishing Group.

Let’s examine the context of this scripture by reading the whole chapter:

“THE righteous are confident that sinners will be disgraced, and perish in the day of iniquity. You shall yourselves be conscious of it; for El Elyon | The Most High ALwill remember your destruction, and the angels shall rejoice over it. What will you do sinners? And where will you fly in the day of judgment, when you shall hear the words of the prayer of the righteous? You are not like them who in this respect witness against you; you are associates of sinners. In those days shall the prayers of the righteous come up before YA’OH | Yahuah. When the day of your judgment shall arrive; and every circumstance of your iniquity be related before the great and the Holy One; Your faces shall be covered with shame; while every deed, strengthened by crime, shall be rejected. Woe unto you, sinners, who in the midst of the sea, and on dry land, are those against whom an evil record exists. Woe to you who squander silver and gold, not obtained in righteousness, and say, We are rich, possess wealth, and have acquired everything which we can desire. Now then will we do whatsoever we are disposed to do; for we have amassed silver; our barns are full, and the husbandmen of our families are like overflowing water. Like water shall your falsehood pass away; for your wealth will not be permanent, but shall suddenly ascend from you, because you have obtained it all iniquitously; to extreme malediction shall you be delivered up. And now I swear to you, crafty, as well as simple ones; that you, often contemplating the earth, you men, clothe yourselves more elegantly than married women, and both together more so than a woman and more colored than a girl, everywhere in majesty, in magnificence, in authority, and in silver: but gold, purple, honor, and wealth, like water, flow away. Erudition therefore and wisdom are not theirs. Thus shall they perish, together with their riches, with all their glory, and with their honors; While with disgrace, with slaughter, and in extreme penury, shall their spirits | ruachoth be thrust into a furnace of fire. I have sworn to you, sinners, that neither mountain nor hill has been or shall be subservient to woman. Neither in this way has crime been sent down to us upon earth, but men of their own heads have invented it; and greatly shall those who give it efficiency be execrated. Barrenness shall not be previously inflicted on woman; but on account of the work of her hands shall she die childless. I have sworn to you, sinners, by the Holy and the Great One, that all your evil deeds are disclosed in the heavens; and that none of your oppressive acts are concealed and secret. Think not in your minds, neither say in your hearts, that every crime is not manifested and seen. In heaven it is daily written down before The Most High AL | El Elyon. Henceforward shall it be manifested; for every act of oppression which you commit shall be daily recorded, until the period of your condemnation. Woe to you, simple ones, for you shall perish in your simplicity. To the wise you will not listen, and that which is good you shall not obtain. Now therefore know that you are destined to the day of destruction; nor hope that sinners shall live; but in process of time you shall die; for you are not marked for redemption;

But are destined to the day of the great judgment, to the day of distress, and the extreme ignominy of your souls. Woe to you, obdurate in heart, who commit crime, and feed on blood.

Whence do you feed on good things, drink, and are satiated? Is it not because our Adonai | Master, The Most High AL | El Elyon, has abundantly supplied every good thing upon earth? To you there shall not be peace. Woe to you who love the deeds of iniquity. Why do you hope for that which is good? Know that you shall be given up into the hands of the righteous; who shall cut off your necks, slay you, and show you no compassion. Woe to you who rejoice in the trouble of the righteous; for a grave shall not be dug for you. Woe to you who frustrate the word of the righteous; for to you there shall be no hope of life. Woe to you who write down the word of falsehood, and the word of the wicked; for their falsehood they record, that they may hear and not forget folly. To them there shall be no peace; but they shall surely die suddenly.” CHANOK (ENOCH) 97:1-25 אתCEPHER Publishing Group.

Our Savior Ya’ohshai gave us clear signs on how to identify these impostors:

“Enter ye in at the narrow gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leads to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because narrow is the gate, and troublesome is the way, which leads to life, and few there be that find it. Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree brings forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree brings forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.” MATTITHYAHU (MATTHEW) 7:13-18 את CEPHER Publishing Group.

“Every tree that brings not forth good fruit is hewn down, and castinto the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not everyone that says unto me, Adonai, Adonai | Master, Master, shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Master, Master, | Adonai, Adonai, have we not prophesied in your name? and in your name have cast out devils? and in your name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye workers of iniquity.” MATTITHYAHU (MATTHEW) 7:19-23 את CEPHER Publishing Group.

“Therefore whosoever hears these sayings of mine, and does them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And everyone that hears these sayings of mine, and does them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it. And it came to pass, when Ya’ohshai | Yahusha had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at his doctrine: For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.” MATTITHYAHU (MATTHEW) 7:24-29 את CEPHER Publishing Group.

In researching when the Pesach begins in 2025, many are stating the month of Abib begins on March 30, 2025:

Here are some examples from various religious sites:

Karite Calendar

During the 9th century CE, a number of sects arose that denied the existence of oral Torah. These sects came to be known as Karaites (literally, People of the Scripture), often referred to as Karaism, or Karaite Judaism, which distinguished them from the Rabbinates or Rabbinical Judaism.

Karaites used the lunar month and the solar year, but determined when to add a leap month by observing the barley crop, rather than a fixed calendar. This occasionally put their calendar month out of sync with traditional rabbinic Jews.

Karite Calendar - BIBARCH

“…Karaites began the first month with the first New Moon after the Vernal Equinox provided the barley was ready for harvest.

The biblical year began with the first New Moon after the barley in Israelreached the stage in ripeness called Abib. The period between one year and the next was either 12 or 13 lunar months.Because of this, Karaites checked the state of the Barley crop at the end of the 12th month. If the barley was Abib at this time, then the following New Moon was Hodesh Ha-Aviv (“New Moon of the Abib”). If the barley was still immature, the Karaites waited another month and then checked the barley again at the end of the 13th month.

People also ask

What month is Abib in today's calendar?

The month of Abib in the Bible corresponds to the months of March or April in the modern calendar. Abib was the first month of the Hebrew calendar and was the start of the biblical new year.

Explanation

  • Abib was the first month of the Jewish sacred calendar and the seventh month of the secular calendar.

  • The name Abib comes from the Hebrew word Ābhībh, which means "ear of grain"

  • The month of Abib coincided with the new moon and the vernal equinox.

  • The 15th day of Abib was the first day of the seven Days of Unleavened Bread.

  • After the Jews returned from Babylon, the month of Abib was called Nisan.

  • The Hebrew calendar is lunisolar, which means it follows the lunar cycles and adjusts for the seasons.

The Hebrew calendar has 12 months, each with 29 or 30 days. To keep the months in sync with the solar year, a thirteenth month is added every two to three years.

According to Wikipedia: “Aviv - Wikipedia

A more accurate transliteration would be Aviv. Its Persian name is Nisan(Diaspora and post-Diaspora Jews use the Persian names of the months).

Ever wonder how to calculate the year according to modern day Israel’s calculations?

What year is it in Israel's calendar?

The year in the Hebrew calendar is 5785, which corresponds to the year 2025 in the Gregorian calendar. The Hebrew year is based on the biblical Date of Creation, which is 3761 BCE.

Explanation

  • The Hebrew calendar is a lunisolar calendar, which combines lunar and solar calendars.

  • The Jewish year is counted from the creation of the world, and is designated AM to indicate the age of the world.

  • The Jewish new year is in the month of Tishri (September or October) and is marked by Rosh Hashanah.

  • The Hebrew calendar is based on the biblical records of various generations and how long they lived.

  • To convert a year from the Gregorian calendar to the Hebrew calendar, add 3760 to the Gregorian number if it is before Rosh Hashanah, and add 3761 after Rosh Hashanah.

You can use a Hebrew date converter to convert dates between the Jewish and Gregorian calendars.

“The first commandment given to the Jewish people was to construct their own calendar. What resulted was one of the most precise calendars ever produced. What makes the Hebrew calendar one the most precise calendars ever produced by any civilization? The Hebrew calendar (along with the Chinese, Tibetan and Hindu calendars) is a lunisolar calendar; it functions in harmony with both the solar and lunar cycles, whereas, our current (Christian) Gregorian calendar is purely a solar calendar. A solar calendar is very effective in keeping holidays in prescribed seasons; Easter in the spring and Christmas in the winter. However, the Gregorian calendar makes no attempt to harmonize with the lunar cycle. As a result, New Year's Day or any month of the year can and does appear during any phase of the moon. On the other hand, the Islamic calendar is purely a lunar calendar and is very effective at beginning each and every month with a new moon. However, the Islamic calendar makes no attempt to harmonize with the solar cycle. As a result, Islamic holidays can and do appear in all different seasons from year to year. The Hebrew calendar (along with the Tibetan, Hindu and Chinese calendars), in comparison, is far more complicated and maintains harmony with both the solar and lunar cycles. The Hebrew months always begin with the new moon and the holidays always occur in a prescribed season. Passover is always in the spring, Rosh Hashana always in the fall, and Hanukkah is always in the winter. Therefore, from this calendric perspective, Judaism and Christianity share the love of holidays occurring in prescribed seasons. In the winter, while Christians celebrate Christmas, Jews celebrate Hanukkah. In the spring when Christians celebrate Easter, Jews celebrate Passover. Likewise from this calendric perspective, Judaism and Islam share an appreciation of the moon's phases. For Jews and Muslims, looking at the moon is like looking at a calendar. If it's a full moon, it's always the 15th of the month. If it's a quarter moon, it is either the seventh or the 21st of the month, depending on whether the moon is waning or waxing. I believe these calendric aspects reflect a unique philosophy and general disposition of Judaism and the Jewish people. Jewish life perspectives train Jews to be open-minded, eclectic and always willing to regard and learn from others. The Bible calls Jews "the children of Israel." Jews are encouraged to maintain a fresh, childlike curiosity and thirst for knowledge. Moreover, the ability to establish harmony with the celestial bodies above and harmony with the civilizations below is a life skill Jews acquire from their unique heritage. Whether one is a Christian existing in harmony with the sun, or a Muslim existing in harmony with the moon, the essence of all worthy religions is existing in harmony with one another. May we all live in harmony and be worthy before God. Amen!”

***The Rosh Chodesh is the Head or Beginning of each month. Every 7 days after is the Shabbath. Therefore, Abib 1 is a Holy High Day of worship dedicated to our Heavenly Father YA’OH. The Moonis our Calendar we use to determine which day to come before him. The Sun we use to align all of Abba YA’OH’s seasons and years.

Hence, Abib 1,8,15,22,28 are the days of worship. Day 29, or 30 will turn into the first day of the month depending upon when the next “New Moon” is sighted.***

This too is how imposters changed the Holy Days and major Feast Days of our Creator!

Aviv Barley in the Biblical Calendar

Posted on February 24, 2016 by Nehemia Gordon

Biblical Leap Years

The Biblical year begins with the first New Moon after the barley in Israel reaches the stage in its ripeness called Aviv. The period between one year and the next is either 12 or 13 lunar months. Because of this, it is important to check the state of the Barley crops at the end of the 12th month. If the barley is Aviv at this time, then the following New Moon is Hodesh Ha-Aviv ("New Moon of the Aviv"). If the barley is still immature, we must wait another month and then check the barley again at the end of the 13th month.

By convention, a 12-month year is referred to as a Regular Year while a 13th month year is referred to as a Leap Year. This should not be confused with Leap Years in the Gregorian (Christian) Calendar, which involve the "intercalation" (addition) of a single day (Feb. 29). In contrast, the Biblical Leap Year involves the intercalation of an entire lunar month ("Thirteenth Month", also called "Adar Bet"). In general, it can only be determined whether a year is a Leap Year a few days before the end of the 12th Month.

Where is Aviv Mentioned in the Hebrew Bible?

The story of the Exodus relates "This day you are going out in the the month of the Aviv." (Ex 13:4).

To commemorate that we left Egypt in the month of the Aviv, we are instructed to bring the Passover sacrifice and celebrate the Feast of Unleavened Bread (Chag HaMatzot) at this time of year. In Dt 16:1 we are commanded:

"Keep the month of the Aviv and make the Passover (sacrifice) to Yehovah your God at night, because in the month of the Aviv, Yehovah your God took you out of Egypt".

Similarly, we are commanded in Ex 23:15,

"You will keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread; seven days you will eat unleavened bread, as I have commanded you, at the time of the month of the Aviv, because in it you went out of Egypt."

The same is commanded in Ex 34:18,

"You will keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread; seven days you will eat unleavened bread, as have I commanded you, at the time of the month of the Aviv, because in the month of the Aviv you went out of Egypt."

What is Aviv?

Aviv indicates a stage in the development of the barley crops. This is clear from Ex 9:31-32 which describes the devastation caused by the plague of hail:

"And the flax and the barley were smitten, because the barley was Aviv and the flax was Giv'ol. And the wheat and the spelt were not smitten because they were dark (Afilot)."

The above passage relates that the barley crops were destroyed by the hail while the wheat and spelt were not damaged. To understand the reason for this we must look at how grain develops. When grains are early in their development they are flexible and have a dark green color. As they become ripe they take on a light yellowish hue and become more brittle. The reason that the barley was destroyed and the wheat was not is that the barley had reached the stage in its development called Aviv and as a result had become brittle enough to be damaged by the hail. In contrast, the wheat and spelt were still early enough in their development, at a stage when they were flexible and not susceptible to being damaged by hail. The description of the wheat and spelt as "dark" (Afilot) indicates that they were still in the stage when they were deep green and had not yet begun to lighten into the light yellowish hue which characterizes ripe grains. In contrast, the barley had reached the stage of Aviv at which time it was no longer "dark" and at this point it probably had begun to develop golden streaks.

Parched Aviv

We know from several passages that barley which is in the state of Aviv has not completely ripened, but has ripened enough so that its seeds can be eaten parched in fire. Parched barley was a commonly eaten food in ancient Israel and is mentioned in numerous passages in the Hebrew Bible as either "Aviv parched (Kalui) in fire" (Lev 2,14) or in the abbreviated form "parched (Kalui/ Kali)" (Lev 23:14; Jos 5:11; 1Sam 17:17; 1 Samuel 25:18; 2 Samuel 17:28; Ruth 2:14).

While still early in its development, barley has not yet produced large enough and firm enough seeds to produce food through parching. This early in its development, when the "head" has just come out of the shaft, the seeds are not substantial enough to produce any food. At a later stage, the seeds have grown in size and have filled with liquid. At this point the seeds will shrivel up when parched and will only produce empty skins. Over time the liquid is replaced with dry material and when enough dry material has amassed the seeds will be able to yield "barley parched in fire".

Aviv and the Harvest

The month of the Aviv is the month which commences after the barley has reached the stage of Aviv. 2-3 weeks after the beginning of the month the barley has moved beyond the stage of Aviv and is ready to be brought as the "wave-sheaf offering" (Hanafat HaOmer). The "wave-sheaf offering" is a sacrifice brought from the first stalks cut in the harvest and is brought on the Sunday which falls out during Passover (Chag HaMatzot). This is described in Lev 23:10-11,

"When you come to the land which I give you, and harvest its harvest, you will bring the sheaf of the beginning of your harvest to the priest. And he will wave the sheaf before Yehovah so you will be accepted; on the morrow after the Sabbath the priest will wave it."

From this it is clear that the barley, which was Aviv at the beginning of the month, has become harvest-ready 15-21 days later (i.e by the Sunday during Passover). Therefore, the month of the Aviv can not begin unless the barley has reached a stage where it will be harvest-ready 2-3 weeks later.

That the barley must be harvest-ready 2-3 weeks into the month of the Aviv is also clear from Dt 16:9 which states:

"From when the sickle commences on the standing grain you will begin to count seven weeks."

From Lev 23:15 we know that the seven weeks between Passover (Chag Hamatzot) and Pentecost (Shavuot) begin on the day when the wave-sheaf offering is brought (i.e. the Sunday which falls out during Passover):

"And you shall count from the morrow after the Sabbath, from the day you bring the sheaf of waving; they will be seven complete Sabbaths."

Therefore, the "sickle commences on the standing grain" on the Sunday during Passover, i.e. 2-3 weeks after the beginning of the month of the Aviv. If the barley is not developed enough so that it will be ready for the sickle 2-3 weeks later, then the month of the Aviv can not begin and we must wait till the following month.

It should be noted that not all the barley ripens in the Land of Israel at the same time. The wave-sheaf offering is a national sacrifice brought from the first fields to become harvest-ready. However, the first-fruit offerings brought by individual farmers can vary in ripeness anywhere from "Aviv parched in fire" to fully ripe grain which may be brought "crushed" or "coarsely ground". This is what is meant in Lev 2:14,

"And when you bring a first-fruit offering to Yehovah; you shall bring your first-fruit offering as Aviv parched in fire or crushed Carmel" (Carmel is grain which has hardened beyond Aviv to the point where it can be "crushed" or "coarsely ground").

All of the above passages have been translated directly from the Hebrew and it is worth noting that the King James translators seem to have only understood the various Hebrew agricultural terms very poorly. In Lev 2:14 they translated Carmel as "full ears" and "Aviv" as "green ears" whereas in Lev 23:14 they translated Carmel as "green ears"!

In summation, barley which is in the state of Aviv has 3 characteristics:

  1. It is brittle enough to be destroyed by hail and has begun to lighten in color (it is not "dark").

  2. The seeds have produced enough dry material so it can be eaten parched.

  3. It has developed enough so that it will be harvest-ready 2-3 weeks later.”

In summary:

False prophets and impostors have altered the true calendar based on the Moon and Sun, as well as the true feast days of Abba YA’OH ALA’AYM! The true Rosh HaShanah | Head of the Yearbegins in the First month of the year. Abib begins in the beginning of Spring, right around the time that the Barley Harvest in the Promise Land of “Israel” is in the state of “Abib”, Carmel, or “still green earsof grain, or its flowering stage “.

These are also the people who have stolen the identity of the true nation of “Israel” | Ya’ohsharal. Their ancestors were never sold into Slavery!

This doesn’t mean that they can’t claim to be Abba YA’OH ALA’AYM’s children. They are the ones who have been “grafted” into the family, especially if they obey all of the commandments that were written for our guidance and protection.
